AHCC Active Hexose Correlated Compound Liquid Extract Immunotherapy and, a unique preparation, is a concentrated extract from medicinal basidiomycete mushrooms grown according to the original AHCC® production method, in a special nutrient medium based on raw rice.

Until now, long-term liquid cultivation of basidiomycetes has been difficult, but Amino Up Co., Ltd. has made long-term liquid cultivation possible with its unique sterility maintenance technology. It is also called basidiomycete culture extract, because the cultured and extracted basidiomycete corresponds to AHCC®.

AHCC® is a functional substance obtained in a unique way from the root part (mycelium) of a basidiomycete (fungus).

The liquid extract is a processed vegetable polysaccharide feed obtained by fermentation and decomposition of carrier bacteria, which is currently among the most promising means for improving immune functions in oncological diseases, etc. 

AHCC®Features

In addition to the polysaccharide β-glucan, it contains α-glucan, which is rarely found in mushrooms. While conventional mushroom products contain a large amount of β-glucan, AHCC® has a low level of β-glucan and mainly contains acylated α-glucan (partially acylated α1-4 glucan). Some of the partially acylated α1-4 glucans contained in AHCC® are smaller in size than conventional α-glucans. AHCC® is unique in that it contains partially acylated α1-4 glucan, which is not present in other mushroom products.

The liquid extract contains ganoderic acids, which have an anti-allergic effect, protect liver cells, help reduce blood pressure, inhibit cholesterol synthesis, and have a calming effect on the central nervous system.

The extract has a powerful immunostimulating effect, but does not provoke an excessive protective reaction of the body.

Indications for use: benign and malignant neoplasms, immunodeficiency, hepatitis B and C, diabetes mellitus, herpes, skin viral diseases, atopic dermatitis, chronic fatigue syndrome.

Composition: extract of basidiomycetes (or basidial fungi), erythritol, black vinegar, citric acid, flavorings, thickener.

Contraindications: Individual intolerance to the drug, pregnancy, breast-feeding, blood diseases, organ transplantation.

Storage conditions: Store in a cool place, protected from direct sunlight, out of the reach of children.
