DHC UC-II Proteoglycan Collagen + Proteoglycan for Joint Health, a complex of type II collagen, glucosamine and proteoglycans, is intended for the prevention and treatment of diseases associated with damage to cartilage tissue (arthrosis, arthritis, etc.). 

Type II collagen is distributed in the area of the intervertebral discs, and is also concentrated in the cartilage tissue.

The drug provides a complex effect on the improvement of joints, where type II collagen acts in combination with proteoglycans. The supplement will help to relieve pain and inflammation in the joints, ensure their flexibility and mobility, restore the structure of cartilage tissue and inter-articular fluid after injuries, operations and strong physical exertion, has an anti-inflammatory and regenerative effect.

An additional intake of this component allows you to improve the condition of the skin – increase its elasticity, firmness, slow down the process of wrinkles. 

Other components in the composition:

• Proteoglycans are a combination of proteins and mucopolysaccharides, such as glycosaminoglycans (mainly chondroitin sulfate). It is a component that retains moisture, like a sponge in the articular cartilage, preventing its dehydration and ensuring good rotation of the joints and the absence of friction (elasticity of the articular cartilage).
• Chondroitin sulfate-has a positive effect on connective tissue, making it more flexible and strong, is part of the cartilage and lubricating fluid in the joints, provides rapid regeneration of cartilage tissue and good skin condition;
• N-acetylglucosamine-increases the production of joint lubrication, strengthens connective tissue, makes muscles stronger and resistant to stretching;
• CBP (Whey protein) – promotes better absorption of calcium and strengthens bones, promotes rapid gain of muscle mass, removes lactic acid from the muscles and relieves fatigue, keeps the muscles in good shape.

The drug is also recommended for athletes whose activities involve a high load on the joints. The drug will allow you to start timely prevention of the preservation of articular cartilage from destruction and various pathologies.
