General Information

While placing an order on Mirai Shop, you will notice the possibility to choose from several shipping methods.

Shipping rates and promotions are subject to change from time to time as our system is updated accordingly. For shipping details, please refer to the following link.

All orders placed in our store are carefully prepared and shipped within 3-5 business days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Japanese holidays) after order confirmation.

We will contact customers by email if there are any exceptions or situations.

Once the package is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email (which includes important information such as tracking number). It is the customer's responsibility to keep track of their package while in transit and notify us as soon as possible (within 30 days of shipment) if there is any exception or delay in the shipping of their order. The buyer will be charged a non-refundable shipping fee if the package is returned to Japan.

Please be aware that shipping and customs delays may occur. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for this type of delay. It is the customer's responsibility to track their package after it has been shipped. Please note that we cannot be responsible for the situation of packages outside Japan, such as delivered packages that are stolen, or packages that are detained by the destination customs office, etc.

Please note that for regions where air shipment is restricted, we can only ship by sea shipment and the shipping time may be between 60-90 business days.

Delivery issues

For Economy and Standard shipments, it is possible for a package to take up to 40 days for delivery, so we can only help after this period of time. If you are concerned and it has not yet reached the 40 day mark, first go to your local post office and ask if there is a package waiting for you, or contact your local customs office.

If you still have not received it after 40 days, please contact us. For EMS shipments, please use the appropriate online tracking service and contact the carrier.

Please understand that we can try to assist on packages that have arrived at destination, but we are unable to directly contact or control packages outside of Japan.

Please contact us no later than 45 days after you place your order if you have not received your package. We regret that packages cannot be traced if too much time has passed. Please note that it is the buyer's responsibility to track and trace the package after shipment to ensure that the package is delivered or collected on time, as we cannot be responsible for packages outside of Japan.

For packages shipped by ocean freight, final delivery is estimated within 60-90 days.


While we are committed to take utmost care while packaging and to make sure that the product reaches you the way you had seen it on our website. However, due to certain circumstances, which may be beyond our control items delivered may get damaged in transit. In such a case we would be more than happy to replace your order. We would request you to contact customer service as per the procedure prescribed below in case of such damages.

The customer must ensure that he/she does not accept the delivery of any product whose original packaging is damaged or tampered in any manner.

If you believe there has been an error with your order, we will do everything we can to correct the problem. Contact us by email or instant messenger Telegram / WhatsApp and we will take care of it.

In the case of a package returned to us:

If your package has been returned to us by the postal or courier service (for example, due to an unknown/mistaken address or unclaimed package). We will contact you to schedule a new shipment.

If this happens, the shipping costs will be based on the carrier's prices, not the regular Mirai Shop prices. All re-shipment costs will be borne by the buyer, unless there is a failure of service by Mirai Shop (for example, unclaimed parcel at destination or incorrect address provided by the buyer on the order etc).

If you request a refund for a returned package, the refund amount will be less shipping charges and any product damage.

Taxes & Customs

Shipping a product from Japan may be subject to taxes and customs fees in the country of delivery. These additional charges are the responsibility of the customer. These costs include sales tax in the country of delivery (applied to the total cost of the order), customs duties on the cost of the products (approximately 6% for the European Union), and carrier fees (ranging from $10 to $20). These fees and charges are subject to change at the discretion of the relevant authorities. In comparison to EMS, which usually charges you right at the time of delivery.

We understand that customs fees may be a concern for some of you. We hope that you will be reassured by the fact that when you buy from Mirai Shop, you are getting genuine Japanese goods that you cannot find anywhere else, at a great value.

The following list describes the EU rules for customs fees:

For packages where the total value of the products does not exceed 22 euros, the products are not subject to tax or import duties.

If the total value is between 22 and 150 Euros, the recipient is only responsible for the sales tax. Attention, they apply to the total value of the product and the transport.

If the total value of the order exceeds 150 euros, both the sales tax and the import duty must be paid.

Pls note that the destination customs has the right based on your local laws and regulations to open, inspect or even detain your package as they see fit. We are not responsible for any damage, detention or loss of package by the destination local customs. Pls kindly contact your local customs office for more information regarding your package in case such incident occurs.
