Senkintan Haisakeicha Tea for brewing is made from the leaves of willow-leaved oak (Quercus salicina), which grows in the mountainous regions of Shikoku Island. This traditional health drink has a long history and has been passed down from generation to generation as a folk remedy for maintaining health.
Each sachet contains finely chopped Quercus salicina leaves harvested from trees over 30 years old, which guarantees high quality and richness of nutrients.

Wild oak tea is becoming more rare every year. In recent years, there has been a shortage of successors among mining specialists familiar with local conditions, which has led to a reduction in the number of people involved in collecting this unique raw material. In addition, the harvesting process requires considerable time: it takes three years to harvest a single tree. This makes tea an even more valuable and limited resource.
Tea does not contain caffeine, which makes it an ideal choice for daily consumption for both children and pregnant women.
The mild taste, reminiscent of oolong tea, is pleasantly refreshing and helps to soften a dry throat.
Tea can be served both hot and chilled.
Discover the traditions of Shikoku with Haisakeicha tea and experience its healing properties.
Composition: white oriental oak.
